A precision bass with just a Darkstar in the neck position.
(Not a telecaster bass like the Squier VM)

My P bass can't do everything a J bass does.

And I'm glad about that.
I don't want my P to do anything a J does.

And no J can do what my P does.

As far as a Squier Big Block.........

I just think that it would be a good foundation for everyone that likes to mod their Squiers. Having an inexpensive bass with a MM Pup in the sweetspot would make a great stock bass and a good bass to build on.

If tomorrow my P bass would do something a J bass would do, I'd roll up a newspaper, smack it on the headstock and say: "that's a bad bass... a bad bass".

Don't ask for just local anesthesia. Ask for the full knock down if you decide go through with this.
