If you're a fan of alternative rock at all, definitely check them out. Incredibly talented band, they write great songs, and Deon is an awesome bass player. I've also seen him play Dirnt signatures on occasion, but no matter what bass he's playing he gets some sick growly, overdriven tones.

They offered LPB as a color then? Plus CV is about the basses being vintage, I can understand maple but I think of LPB as a modern color

LPB was available in the 60's, a good example kurt cobains 69 mustang in the smells like teen spirt video, is LPB with matching headstock.


They can do CAR and rosewood to.

That big block might become my next project bass. Cept with a slab body and maple neck (I'm partial because of my Squier II Slab Precision)

Edit: maybe just one of those control plates for the front of mine.

I'd like to see a Squier Bass VI. Might get flamed for this but has anyone used the 51 style p/u's in a similar position to a Jazz? I think it would look kind of out of place, but who knows. Time to get crackin in Photoshop.
