The Mexican manager blew it. As soon as they scored, he tried to defend a one goal lead for 40 minutes, which is just suicide. Holland deserved to win in the end, even with the dubious penalty (I thought they should have had one earlier anyway). Costa Rica should have had an clear pen for handball in the first half, so I reckon they deserved to win as well (their Keeper was mighty), even though neither team was very impressive. Some damn fine penalties though under that sort of pressure.
Did anyone see Suarez's tweet? He said he "fell on the opponent with his teeth"! LOL That's like telling your friend that you fell on his wife with your penis.
I've been catching up with pages of interesting football chit-chat. I don't mind the goal-line technology, because that's a clear cut thing, not open to interpretation. I wouldn't like to see it go any further though. Even offside decisions are often a matter of opinion, even with slow motion replays and 4 different camera angles. As Titus said a while back, debating refereeing decisions is part of the game.
