People are going to criticize Fred for this, and rightly so. But there won't be enough criticism for the ref. You can't call something you don't actually SEE. Referee school 101. He didn't see a penalty, so why did he call it?

There was a handball call against Croatia earlier that was the same. There was clearly no handball but the ref called it even though he didn't see it. He just guessed it was, or he figured it was--Absolutely unforgivable.

That is a referee's mistake, if not then what it is? That is why we need cameras on critical situations.

Horrible penalty call. Someone asked if roles where reversed would Croatia get the call? Not in a million years. Brazil was still the better team today, but not as good as to be a pick to win it all. So much for my 2-0 prediction lol
