I liked it until the ending. I beat it in an hour and 22 minutes. Anyone have any other similar games? I know there used to be a bunch back in the '90s, but I didn't play them. I want to now.

I used to have a game called "Search for the King" that ran on my *old* IBM 286. It was somewhat similar: run around picking up useless items to somehow advance you further in the game. It was entertaining, but I got stuck and eventually gave up after about 2 years of trying on and off to get past that part. I might still have it somewhere...I'll hafta look.

Y'know the locked door, with the security plate thing? You wanna take that, and cut it up with the laser. Then put the pieces back, in a different arrangement, so that the lock can open.
i finally did that, but i really don't know how i got the laser to full power? how do you get the laser to full power?
Well, that means that the laser needs all the energy in the room. So, go to the fireplace, get some wood, go back to the laser, burn the wood and put the wood back in the fire place. Nice warm fire and it conserves energy.

I had Kings Quest V or something. I got only so far, then I couldn't get past the part with the frickin' Arabian Raiders! Never played it again...kinda wish I still had it though.

I am in the room with the fireplace and the machine. I already turned off the light, lit the fire, cut the pieces and put them back in the security plate. I thought the door would unlock but im still stuck. What do i do? Did I miss something?

Yeah, I remember playing that gamea few months ago. The longest I've ever been sitting in front of a computer (3 hours on a lazy Saturday morning/afternoon) to beat an online web game. Pretty cool.
It's a matter of *how* you put 'em back. You have to put them back in a different order than they were in before. You can arrange them so that the little moving thing has a space to move into, and the door unlocks.
I must say that i do suck at this game. I am not trapped in the room with the motorcycle and firehose. I used the screwdriver to get the lightbulb and I have my flashlight. Now I am lost. Am i supposed to do something with the lil moving tiles or with the alien moving ball things?

You need to move the doormat in the motorcycle room, and there's a key and a grating underneath it, and the key falls through the grating.
You wanna go to the tiles under the rug in the second room. Move them about until they're all down, and they give way.
