Hi, I'm new here but I've been playing Bass for 30 years. I have just switched to a JBL Eon powered 15' PA enclosure, and it sounds <i><b>great</b></i> just as it is. It would be real cool to add some outboard gear, tho..............

I'm building a pair of 1x15 based on the JBL M-151 in SBB4 vented alignment, and no tweeter. The intended use is meat 'n potato bass thump or alternately, mid-range drivers in a tri-amped PA system.

just try out the coax and non coax version to find which one you like better
they go fer about 400 and 600 respecively, the coax version's 15 is a bit puchier too, but both are fabulous

That depends on lots of things....Most I see will do 40hz. From what i understand dropping much lower makes things worse not better.
Depends on the cab design and the speaker used.
Edit: Just realized how old this thread is.
For 40 lbs you can get the GK Neo. Not sure how well it will play with Eden. You may want to check the mixed cabinet threads scattered throughout TB on whether you 'should' add a 15" to your 4x10.

I can't think of any production 115 cab that goes deeper than the fEARful. My understanding is that it was designed to deliver the first overtone of low F#, 46 Hz, and I have no doubt that it does so.
Why is it that when you see a Zombie thread, in this case over eleven years old, oft times it's a brand new member! What a poor way to introduce oneself to the rest of us.

It was the long gone user names that gave it away. Trust everything is well with you down under!.
With a Eden 4x10 I'd go with a Eden 1x15.
IMHO the Bag End s15 will have a hard time being hears with
the Eden.
