Finger Rest--- Sacrilegious on a P?

my thumb/ finger rests are popsicle sticks velcro'd on. You only need very small pieces of velcro to hold them on, but you don't want to velcro any fragile finish, only pickguards or poly.

I added this with double sided tape. Just two square 1/4 dowels glued together and sanded down. Works great.

I simply took a piece of wood and sanded it until I liked the shape. I aimed for the same height the pickup has, the original Fender tug bar is much too big for my taste. I put it there with a drop of krazy glue, because I had no double sided tape in the garage.
