Double Bass Fingerboard transducer reccomendations ?

I have a Rev solo pickup fitted to my ES9, but I want to fit a FB transducer to plug straight into the mixing desk for the slap click, as I am now playing in a trio with no drums.
Can anybody reccomend a decent piezo pick up that would handle the click from slap bass, particulary with all plain gut strings ?

I don't have any experience with the K&K fingerboard transducer, nor have I ever actually seen one. But it was the first thing that came to mind when I read your post:

I don't know if you can get the FB transducer part separate from the BassMax pickup which goes in the wing slot like your Rev SOLO. Might be worth an email to Bob G. though.

What about a mic on a stand up close to the FB and your right hand? In the studio, that might work pretty cool for capturing that FB slap. IME this also works well in the studio for regular old pizz work when coupled with a second mic in a more traditional spot somehere out in front of the bridge.

Yes, the fingerboard transducer is available separately, further down on the page. There are also two channel preamps available to mix and EQ the two.
