First Acquisitions of 2010?

Now I can practice in the van and hear myself and have a metronome and not annoy anyone.

I've had a tuner and metronome for ages and I still piss people off. Without even picking up a bass.

I think my first acquisition this year will be a double bass. I haven't had one for about ten years but recently found an excuse to buy another, and a good local teacher.

Boss TU-88 tuner/metronome/personal monitor...

...hm, sounds nice. I've been searching quite a while for something like this. It could replace my kilos of batteries-eating tom scholz bassman.
Can you use the metronome/aux-in without headphones? Is it loud enough, so that you can play along fully amplified? (Just in case you want to bother someone... :D)

i got a vintage triangle big muff. first version, first edition. i'm pretty excited to try out the supposed "holy grail" of muffs and see how it compares to my experiences with other fuzzes and muffs.

i'm hoping its a keeper on the board (the last pedal, it will make it complete), and if not, then i need to find something else to put on there. but i'm almost complete, only one pedal away.

New case for my board. Going couch's route and using a DJ turntable case :)

(well, it WILL be my first acquisition)

First my new Elctro Harmonix Big Fuzz Pedal is arriving today. this friday I am having my LTD restrung and also putting my TRace Elliot Stack into Layaway. It is going to take FOREVER to pay it off but i am patient. Also looking to get a Bottom Feeder Pedal to thicken my sound prior to the signal hitting the Big Fuzz. other then that I want a monitoring system and a backup bass. I am pretty happy with my current set up.
