I have six bases. I bought four from there. With the exception of the dirt cheap six string I bought from their scratch and dent section, I love them all. And they play great. And to be clear, I've picked up some expensive bases (a friend owns a music store) that play terrible. Cheap ones too.

We are seeing a paradigm shift in the cost of solid bodied electric stringed instruments similar to what Moor's law has done in the computer industry.

I don't know what else you may have available, but these two brands are as good as any to start off with. In terms of models, I would recommend trying out all the basses that fit your budget. See what fits you best and acoustically suits your needs. However, stick to known brands for now.
There are cheap basses and there are inexpensive basses. The difference are the cheap ones will fall apart and aren't made to last(these are the ebay, no name brand ones). The inexpensive ones such as some of the Squiers and Ibanez are just priced inexpensively but are great instruments for the money.

In no order: Squier, Ibanez, ESP (LTD), Yamaha, Sire, Epiphone, SUB, Rondo (same as SX? if not, also SX)... all great basses. You just have to find what you like the feel and sound of best.

I have several Squiers, an Ibanez, and my friend has an ESP/LTD. For Squiers try to go with a VM at least, or their best, the CV. For Ibanez, I like the SR models and up personally.

Both the Squier basses, and Ibanez SR basses are good choices, but, if possible you should hold the bass you are going to buy, and see how it feels to you. If you have any friends that play well, it's also a good idea to bring one with you, if there are no bass players, a good guitar player can help too, but, it's more important how it feels in your hands. They are very different, probably one of the 2 will feel better than the other, and if you do not play yet, it will not be a bad decision to buy a Squire, or an Ibanez because you like the feel, and look of one better, because both are a good, playable bass guitar.

Sire M3 is $299. Sire V7 is $399.

EDIT: I see now that online ordering is not possible for the OP, so maybe these (my recommendations, below) don't work. I guess buy what's available, then. Where does one get basses in Iran, and what kinds are available?

These questions are so very subjective really they are. At 16, you are not buying a bass to last a life time. You are buying a bass to learn a craft and have fun. Buy what looks cool to you.
Have fun. Don't worry about any of the rest of the crap. Each and every one of us here on TB can give you a pro or a con for just about every single bass know to exist. Buy what you like.
Play as many basses as you can. Enjoy it. Don't give much worry about quality when you are looking for a lesser expensive bass or your first bass. Worry about that the next time. A good set of strings and a set up will make most any bass play well and make most basses a joy to play. If you hate black, stay away from black basses. I don't like white ones, so I don't buy white basses. Pretty simple that way.

there are some limited basses in online stores ( like cort , stagg , sr series , aria , and some squier models ) , of course there are some stores in another cities that sell better basses but it's not possible for me to buy from those stores
i want sth under 350$ and after some research i found that ibanez sr300 and squier jazz bass are the best options that I have. but I can't try them so, I don't know which one is better

Buy the very best you can possibly afford, because, unfortunately, price does have a direct connection to quality, sound and playability.

Just look at all be threads on bowed necks, crappy hardware and assorted failures on cheap basses. Not singling any one brand out, but some are worse than others.

It is well worth it to save up and put off a purchase for a little while until you can afford something nicer than a run of the mill entry level bass.

That is my opinion, and he asked for opinions, so no need for the off-brand or offshore cheap version of American basses-bass lovers to flame me.
