. First good bass was a sunburst Fender Precision bought in 1971 which is long gone.Wow.... That struck a memory long erased from my brain pan..... I too had a record store in walking distance where I could ogle a few guitars and amps and dream of being a rock hero as a wee lad. Thanks for that memory.Had a Kingston (circa '67) single pup 4 banger. Burst & tort. Purchased at Musicland (Record store).
Don't recall the amp, but it was a MIJ (sounds cool now) head/cab single 15 SS, probably all of 20 watts.
