First official live performance ,I'm scared

Been there, done that, too. Relax as best as you can, be confident in your ability, and have fun! That's what playing is all about. The audience is on your side. They don't want anyone to fail. Don't obsess over mistakes before or during the gig. You will do great!

He's in Iran. You can't drink in public.
Yeah, and I wouldn't advise anybody to use alcohol or drugs to loosen up unless you're VERY used to it and can really judge how it will affect you. If not, DON'T! Better going in with as little additional stresses on your system as possible, especially unfamiliar ones. That goes for food too. I've had a few times on tours where the band would get fed some really nice dinner before the show and I chowed down on the rich local fair (because when on tour you're not always getting good food!), and lets just say a grumbling gut is not what you want onstage, especially if you're already prone to stage nerves.
Anyhow, just practice, and try to relax, and most of all have fun. I also agree if you can invite some people over to your rehearsal and play the set for a little audience that can be a great idea.

Do something whacky on stage at the beginning, then you'll feel loose and comfortable on stage. I'm very comfortable on stages and dont get nervous easily, it has to do with my personality. Understand that you will make a mistakes and that's okay, everyone makes mistakes. Those perfect recordings you hear? They probably took several takes to get just right. Perfect live performance? You just didn't notice the mistakes. The same way that they will probably not notice yours. Just be happy you're not the singer, those mistakes are obvious!

I have played gigs since 1988. I still get butterflies. But more than anything I just get excited. I have played for 2 people and 6000 people. Just practice the set like you are in the gig setting. And then do it over and over 100 times. The gig will be completely natural at that point, and you can focus on the groove. That works for me anyways. Don't sweat the small stuff. And it is all small stuff.
If you feel panic rising before the gig starts there's a proven technique to control nerves. It's too much adrenaline that makes us Fight Flight or Freeze. So you can direct it in either direction. If you're feeling panicky repeat to yourself "I'm feeling excited, this is going to rock I'm feeling excited, this is going to rick, I'm feeling excited..." like a mantra over and over... it will help trick your body and mind to channel the adrenaline into honing and heightening your senses rather than causing you to freeze... keep doing it and you should start for feel the fear turning gradually into excitement...

Always remember ...noone listens to what the bass is doing...if you flub a note or seven most likely only your bandmates will know.....breathe in through the nose and out the mouth...you will do fine.

Our stuffs are so on bass sound .
Like primus but not same style .

What's the lion house, if you don't mind me asking.
For a lot of people, the nerves leading up to a performance are worse than during it.
It's iranaian sentence in farsi .
When you go to a challenge that the matter of the things you are getting challenge with is there .they call it lion house , because the masters are searching to fond a way destory you .

Like I cooked for mom and her old forests food .man I was in lion house .

(Here mean they are great and cooking so my cooking get test in too much high lvl .why lion Because they will eat by judging .

Coming from someone who used to be terrified with public speaking, even in a small classroom when I was in school...it will be ok :) My first gig, I was a nervous wreck, but after the first 3 or four songs, I settled in. Playing music live has helped me tremendously with my anxiety in public, particularly where I am the focus and having demonstrate or speak.

You have already practiced, so you will be fine. If you or anyone makes a mistake, don't focus on that, focus on doing your thing, putting on a good performance, and try to enjoy the moment.

As kid I got bullied over my fatness and some people called me ugly .so started have social anxiety and started hate groups and didn't fit in groups.

By staring playing bass because I started be in group and because I felt confident with my instrument helped me get much better with this problem.

Oh man.....That is just beautiful......If there's any chance of hearing more I'd love to be pointed toward it
Some iranian folk fusion music

Listen from min 2:50
(attention last two song is about God ,the song is talking about beauty and power of God and human love to god ,so if it's not your type you can pass it .)

All of this song are sub gener of iranaian folk music and our band songs are this kind .

I think the nervousness has happened to everyone, when I first started playing live, I would focus on the other band members, or my bass as the stage was the safe spot, (the living room, if you will). I would look at the audience, but not in the eyes, however, after a song or two, the nervousness goes away. That's when it really starts to get fun, before you know it, you will be filling any lulls between songs with a little humor line, don't think everyone there is criticizing you, they came to relax and listen to some good tunes....Just my opinion.

That stinks to hear, I'm sorry. But I'm glad bass has been so helpful to you. I've noticed in this thread and others, you seem to feel you have very competitive surroundings where everyone is out to cut you down on any excuse. Do you think other Iranians feel the same way and that's the culture, or is that your own anxiety speaking?

This is great stuff! Thanks for sharing it, I don't think I had heard Iranian music before. Are the lyrics mostly from Rumi?

For first part
It's a race in music school .you can stay if you aren't good ,we choose from 2000 people .some lose friends when they were entering .
I didn't pass the exam but got invite card from the people who test for entering .
For some reason :my main style was western music and as kid I listend to western music ,when other usually come from musical family .well I didn't come from musical family .most people are pop artist In test I was only one who request for fusion and rock .I was only person from my region .

So after enter school ،people acts harsh .
In music school people aren't supportive (usually boys ,I'm in a mix band too that has more girls and they are super supportive).

A lot of teachers family didn't pass the exam and having a person who is really so new to music when their trained kid didn't enter make them angry .
My anti social side make people angry because they think I'm too weird that I don't go out with them and things like that .

Folk music

There are a lot of style .
One style has Rumi .
One style is similar but it's about love and god .
One is come from iran south the place I born and it's more

Here example of origins styles

Could have benefited from a little compression at the 3:06 mark, otherwise, you sounded great in the mix and it was a lovely song.
