HA! The first recorded song I remember hearing that had an effect on me was "I Want To Bite Your Hand" from the album "Dracula's Greatest Hits" by Gene Moss and "The Monsters"
I don't recall the first recorded song I ever heard but I do recall the first recorded song I ever liked/caught my attention ... "Get Off My Cloud" by the Rolling Stones.

The first tune that was anything remotely related to rock'n'roll that I can recall was The Coasters' "Charlie Brown"; the bass voice going "why is everybody picking on me" amused the pre-school me to no end.

The immortal lyric, "Bow, bow, to His Daughter In Law Elect" based on ancient family history I would have to vote for this theme from The Mikado, which we had the original double album from some hallmark English version, my mother's childhood dog was named Co-co (a character), Grandpa was in the chorus, anyway I liked the tympani and melodic themes
Songs from the student prince played on a windup victrola record player....78 of course ..early 50s.

Watching the Ken Burns Jazz series on DVD and it just flashed on me the very first recorded tune I heard was this song by this legend. I think I might have been just about 2 years old and was on our phonograph player. Yeah, it might be corny to some of you, but it's still one of most upbeat and happy ones to me. That and he's just a great trumpet player. Any others have a way back one to post this day?

My father was a professional musician who played in a military band for his day job and a show band in the evenings, and my mother was into contemporary popular music, so there's a 99% chance the first recorded songs I heard around the house would have been Sammy Davis Jr or Frank Sinatra or something from one of The Beatles's first couple of albums (1963/64).
The first song I really remember though was this one. Perhaps an odd choice, being the B side of the Hard Day's Night single. I can still recall, even at 5 years old, how much I loved the vocal harmony at the start of each chorus, and how the song changes up in the bridge.

I think the OP means "recorded song" to be not live music, like lullabies and nursery rhymes. If we include radio, then I remember hearing Rhythm of the Rain by the Cascades very early. I think it was 1962.
My parents got me some 45s of children's music on yellow vinyl in the late '50s-early '60s, but I can't remember specific songs. Other than that, the first ones I actually remember were all the songs on The Limeliters' "Tonight: In Person" album from 1961, which my mom loved.

Earliest recording I can recall hearing would have to be Van Halen Jamie's Cryin' cranked to 11 while sliding around in the back seat of my dad's '68 Camaro while he did donuts in the snow in an empty Kmart parking lot. That would have been winter '79, makes me about 3.

My parents had the radio on a lot when I was a kid. I can remember hearing Perry Como doing "Hot Diggity" and liking it. The first song by what would be considered rock artists was "All I Have To Do Is Dream" by the Everly Brothers. That one crossed over to the lighter music station my parents listened to. "Singing the Blues" by Guy Mitchell is another that I liked at a very young age.
I distinctly remember the first song I ever heard, well, more likely remembered I suppose. Supremes/ Can't hurry love. Early 80's at my mom's house.
