Thats what i thought. Talked to owner on the phone just two guys building these in his house. Think i'm gonna take a drive to st lou and check them out. Just wanted to see if anyone had one of there basses and what they thought.

I know Thom and John from when we all worked at SLME. They had begun building basses for themselves which they would bring to work. Lots of bass players worked at SLME, and the place was constantly visited by Ampeg endorsers. From all the feedback they got, they made many improvements over time. They build amazing instruments. I have a fretted six being built, and I have a fretless 5 they built for me a couple of years ago. Beautiful instruments, on par with the best. The bridge is a significant innovation. Please PM me for information requests. It is a small company, so I might be quicker to reply.
