Absolutely love the smile on that fish!
I'm taking a three day weekend this week, for some fishing on Lake Nippising, a shot 4 hour drive north of Toronto.
With luck, I'll get me some Walleye fro the fry pan and perhaps, find myself being over served on a nightly basis.
I'll post some pics if I get any!

I'm going to get in the SW for my first time next weekend. Alot of the above fish are listed on the TX Parks website. Being a bass fisherman from many rural fishing holes, I have no idea what I'm getting into :D. The fishing guru at the local Gander Mtn lived on the coast for 31 years, so hopefully I'll learn something from him. Other than that, any TB advise? I'll be looking for live shrimp when I get there, but any other bait ideas?

The Berkley Gulp shrimp baits are a great alternative to the live shrimp if you can't find them. These things are amazing, everything from snook to redfish to flounder to rockfish love these things. Two thumbs up.

C'mon now, his tail wraps around, he isn't THAT small.:D They grow them bigger in Florida, that's for sure.

We actually caught 6 Permit that day. A couple were pretty nice, I need to get pics from the other camera. Talk about spooky fish. When the fly hits the water they scatter, then fall back in, then you start to strip pretty quickly, and BAM!

One of the companies I rep for is Cortland. They make a SW line called Crystal, it is completely clear, will not wilt, has no stretch and cast like a mofo. All the guides I've talked to call it the Permit killer.

Here's a pic from this past weekend... the weather did not allow us very much time on the water... 30mph steady winds with gusts to 50mph was enough to force us to try and find the bottom of a vodka bottle, rather then fish all day!
