Fishing Club?

I go every day (and night) i can. I've recently got into catfishing,it is actually a lot harder than you would think. Finicky fish. Definitely takes patience, but bring some tunes tell some stories and enjoy watching the sun set in good 'ol Nashville. If anyone wants to fish (and/or jam) around the ville, let me know.

I hate fishing:hiding: But I do vacation at HHI one week out of the year. Then I grab a pole and some tackle, not for the fish, for the sharks! Got this surf fishing where I swim!:D

OK I'm in on this....I'm a Saltwater Fly Fisherman on Long Island New York.....

Here are a couple of pics, I haven't been out on the water since my son was born on Aug 2nd. I should be back in action for the fall run...

During the summer I mostly fish the flats, the fish are smaller but it's a ton of fun and totally addicting...

I'll share more if there iis renewed interest in this thread!:D

Bay of Quinte is world renowned as one of the top three Walleye waters in the world. I'm fortunate to have it within a 2 hour drive from my house.
This is a 12 pd'r I caught on Sunday, one of three double digits we caught.
Thought I would share with my angling bass/bass TB'ers.
Yah, that's why they call me "Fishheadjoe"

Go fishing for catfish several times a year on the Tennessee river. I've been bass/crappie/brim fishing a few times as well. I enjoy it, as its about the only time I get to spend with my grandfather any more. Plus its about the only time that I'm not in a city nowadays.

No pics now, but I'm going for bass wednesday, and then tfor cats next week, so hopefully I'll have some to share.

Any tips for a bass fishing novice?

News everyone, I only caught 1 brim and some bait fish yesterday. The fish really weren't biting at all. The 3 of us combined only managed to nab a couple of small mouths, a carp, 5-6 brim, and a channel cat not counting the fish that were way to small to even measure them.

Well, I'm going to post these in my AK thread too. But I got back from AK a couple of weeks ago. We caught mostly fresh Silver Salmon and Pinks. a few Dolly Varden (char), Rainbows, and Grayling. The Rwhole system had extremely high water after 30 days of rain and wading and fishing were tough. But we still managed to have several ten fish days on Silvers. I don't know that I've ever experienced a fish that fought like the silvers one was into my backing on three separate runs with a 120' Spey line. The Grayling aren't big, but they are a beautiful fish with multi colored spots and fins.

Here's a couple of Grayling shots:

Here's a few Dolly Varden or Artic Char:
