    Tom, you link refers to a red explorer bass. No, most of us try to avoid playing one of those. Especially that body style. yeccchhh!!!! :smug:

    Love the red explorer bass. What a monster!

    I have to admit I wondered about the Fishman amps too. Unfortunately I've never heard or seen one.

    Man, those look really interesting. The two channel one looks especially cool - too bad they don't make that with the 8" driver.

    Chuck Sher publishes my book, WALKING BASSICS:The Fundamentals of Jazz Bass Playing.
    It does say "All acoustic stringed instruments (EXCLUDING BASS)" right on the first page...
