Yes these days I mostly use my Zoom pedals but I have several others in the collection like a Dano Psycho Flange, Ibanez FL9 and an old Ross Flanger.

I just put my Line 6 Tonecore Liquaflange back on my board. What a spectacular, underrated, under the radar device. Liquaflange>Gnomeratron>Buzzard>B3K>POG2 (detune only)>Prometheus (downswept LPF) has had me mesmerized for hours the last few weeks. Starting with the Flanger makes it all come together.

I certainly do. I'm a big fan of chorus and flanger effects on bass. I currently own an mxr micro flanger. pretty good flanger for if you want a basic jet flanging sound. recently, I've been interested in buying a mooer e-lady flanger(it was called the eleclady at one point. I don't know why they change the name). I do like the swirling flanging sounds that this pedal provides. would like to test one out on bass.

Off and on. Its part of my rotation of modulation effects. Typically I'm happy with a chorus, then the chorus sounds too "80's" so I get a phased which eventually sounds too funky for non funk so I go for a tremolo then I want a chorus but I remember not liking chorus so I get flanger which has too much top end swirl so I get a chorus.

Hahaha man effects are a crippling addiction. Someone save us.

After much trial and tribulation with modulation, I took all of it off the board, including my beautiful BF-2. Now I'm just a 2 pedal comp and dirt user, but I'm writing much stronger riffs and ideas. My problems with any effect that can be considered "over the top" like modulation is how many times it can be used effectively in a set before people say "oh, there's that sound again."

The Eleclady was really nice on bass when I had it. I didn't really hear an appreciable difference between it and the EHX Mistress. Ultimately I preferred the tones of my TC SCF set to flange, but for the price and the small footprint, it is tough to beat the Eleclady.

The BF-2 is no slouch though. You can still find MIJ versions with the black knobs for around $50. It's a budget classic.

Agree 1000000%. That's the problem I had with my BF-2, as amazing as it was. Every time I turned it on I just sounded too much like Justin from Tool. To me that means the sound is played out and I sold the pedal.
