Thanks. In my experience, EB stainless flats are similar to Fender flats, but with less grind. When I kill a set of Fender flats, instead of replacing the entire set, I change out the E string for an EB stainless flat of the same gauge, and as a fresh string the EB E string coordinates well with a set of well-seated Fender flats.And, I respect iiipopes opinion and recommendations; If he says they're good, I'd give them a try...
