Flea's Shell Pink Jazz Bass

It's a bass. Wood, metal and plastic. From a realistic stand point, it's not much different than any other bass. It was made to be played, not kept in a glass case to look it. I worry about you guys sometimes.

I didn't say that it was not meant to be played, I am saying that I personally wound not put a sticker on a $35,000 bass. I'd definatley play it if I had it, but I'd like to keep it as vintage as possible.

If you own it, it's your right to do with it as you wish but I gotta say it does hurt to see stickers on such a rare and killer bass. I definitely believe it should be played and not is some glass case somewhere but I can't say I would go with cheap stickers even if I was rich.

I have the same wireless! If it was him who put the stickers on the bass, he did that a long time ago it looks like. But now that its seen all over, the 35,000 sticker price just went up because of obvious reasons.

If you see the 59 jazz bass, it will suprise many..the pups are wide like p-90's

Theres pics in a few different fender books and I think even in an older copy of gruhns guide. All I saw was a b/w photo of the bass. If memory serves it did not have string mutes and had the 3 controls, but it sure as heck did have large sized single coil pickups, and this was not after market. Leo and George were still finalizing the jazz bass.
