Finally had a day without rain yesterday. My last 2 gigs have been rain outs, but we're done with the outdoor shows for a couple of months. Friday night is inside finally!
Yeah, it is time to be done with outdoor gigs unless they pay WELL or have some great amount of exposure (for those of us in original bands).

With the recent rain, my weeds have taken over. And, wouldn't you know it, the neighbor with the knee-hi grass decides to cut his lawn so it looks like I live in an abandoned house. I just can't win with the lawn police.
2 words. Lawn Service. Finally went that way a month or 2 ago. Much better than trying to rely on my teenager to get it done.

My lawn service just quit last month. He moved to Miami. ~pout~ Now I'm trying to drag my son out to get it all done. He's not really about the lawn care business, it seems. But he's gonna be if he intends to keep eating a mom's house. At 25, TANSTAAFL.
Oh, man, how did I miss this thread? I'm reppin' New Port Richey (about 30 miles NW of Tampa). I'm playing in two bands right now: Circle Sky and Jersey Dirt. So, what does that make me, number 217? 218? Somewhere around there?
How have I not seen this thread? Florida boy, born and raised. I live in Loxahatchee, which is about 20 minutes west of West Palm Beach.
Sheesh! what's up with some of these kids? I started cutting the darn grass when I was 8. Mine just graduated - 2 more to go, but he needs to get on with it. He ain't hang'in round here forever!
