I'd say your gildaxes qualify too - just much much bigger "flakes"!
Thanks! I also have my gilded finishes incorporating gold metallic dusting which is exclusively done for me by Pat Wilkins. It's nearly impossible to photograph as it's very subtle but is a really magical detail activated by light and movement.

Beauty was only skin deep?Love the snow-flake none the less!
It had a twisty neck, and the top had some weird flaw that would show through the finish no matter what I did. No big deal, it wasn't for a customer, sometimes you just gotta cut your losses.
But happily, I did do a customers build in the same type of finish that came out even better. Its HOK Abalone flake over a white base. I just didn't have as good of a pic to post of it.

That guitar is the best design I have come up with to date. I am really proud of that one.
Such a nice bass,i wish i knew when these were released back then..very nice,also my fav color of the 3 colors they released

I was going to say I don't like that color until I saw the 2nd picture, that is one frickin beautiful G&L Bass, WOW!!!!
