I had. In Greeville, South Caroline. The airport authority nit had an idea about what is or do a pedal. In the X Ray they saw the internal batteries and start to think that I have a bomb...I usually wrap them up in my check in suitcase. Never had a problem.
Until I go home with no money.I think what you need is a traveling bass tech.. They handle your pedal and carrying needs, assist you on the road with set-up and repairs... So you give them a list of what you need, show up at the airport in slippers with a cocktail and rely on them for getting everything through to the final destination! JimmyM is now stress free.![]()

Um...no. Just no.No touring without pedals, no private jets, no touring with personal techs.
You are shooting down all the reasonable ideas.
Maybe only travel by bus? I had a friend at the Uni who used to take the Montreal to Minneapolis (the 39 hour ride one) and he seemed to enjoy it. I mean, how could it be?
Um...no. Just no.
