A quick OT question...anyone see Kristen Wiig last night on SNL? "Don't make me sing". OMG I laughed so hard.
What do you guys think of this top idea for my Imperial:
Looks understated, but still very interesting and full of character. I'd say that's a keeper!

Very organic (lol) and I expect an amazing 3D effect. Is that a rainbow maple piece (I see quilt and burl, but no spalt ...) ?

he's famous to buy basses and keep them for 1-2 month or less and sell them.

thanks for the lovely bass, but due to a very recent occasion that appeared just after I bought the Emperor, I am about to aquire a YinYang and I won´t keep both the Emperor and the YY.
Bass arrived very well protected, thanks again for the smooth transaction.

I finished my order last week. It took 3moths to finalize spec. Jason has been patience with me. Without him, I could NOT find what I wanted.
Here.
Imperial II 5string (34" extended low B)
Alder Body, Flame Maple Toneblock, Maple Burl Top
Water-cured maple neck, Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard (24fret)
Fodera Dual Coil PUs with matching maple wood covers, Pope 3band.
Gold Hardware.
*body to be as compact as reasonably possible,
*fingerboard width and string spacing like on a Matt Garrison.
