Fodera Club Part III

Folks, as soon as we get done with NAMM Show madness (lots of 14 hour days at the shop), we will be posting the 2010 Price List on the Website...I would expect that you will see it on the site by the end of next week.

As for the book about Fodera, I did an entire year worth of research before joining Vinny and Joey as their partners. This included a full day every week in the shop along with interviews of most of the major Fodera players who were tremendously gracious and supportive of the endeavor. Unfortunately, I just do not have the time right now to work on the book as I am spending so much time helping out the business.

However, the book WILL happen some day...

When will it be completed?

I want to know 2010 price list. when will I get 2010 price list?
and I wish new website will include price and available wood info.

However Most important reason is that I could order fodera! (maybe april..) This is reason why I take an interest in price list. ; )

Actually, there seems to be a misconception that Dealer Pricing is better than Direct...this is generally not the case. We all price things pretty much the same way, provide the same discounts, etc.

Generally, we encourage people to order from where and whom they feel most comfortable. Personal relationships are key in building an instrument of this caliber. Who knows you best? Who knows your playing style, what you want your sound to be like? Likes? Dislikes?

Some folks like to work with a Dealer and other like to order direct -- it is far more about personal preference than money as the pricing works out to be similar...

Also, several of our finest dealers actually buy instruments for stock, meaning that they put down their hard earned money as deposits and order instruments on spec. This means that some of our Dealers actually have orders already in the build schedule and if what they have ordered matches what you are looking for, you can end up with a Fodera a lot faster than our current 24-26 month wait. I bought my first two Foderas this way and it worked out well for all involved...

That said, we can, and do work quite regularly with customers new and old and that is as simple as dropping us a line at:

Here's a pic of my Emperor II. It's also featured on Fodera's website as the E II example on the Emperor tab (link below). Although it's the heaviest bass I have it's the best balanced and can be played for hours with no fatigue! Sounds incredible...
