i also have a couple with maple fingerboards and a couple with rosewood. i string the maples with flats and rosewoods with rounds. all are 6-strings.
the top and body woods are the same. (my first is from 1985, so i've been doing this for a while.)
honestly, i don't know why you'd get two unless you do something like this, but that's just me.
i'm not into mixing different string configurations.
