absolutely. Laura just emailed me about what time I wanted to play at the booth. Are you going to have your pre amp booth right next door again?

Will be great fun. I'm coming in from Texas on the first day I think, probably be there around lunchtime.

See you there.

very bummed I won't be there with you this year... had a blast last year.
cheers

Your Imperial 6 is gorgeous! I'm interested in seeing a close up of those features.

Here's a quick shot of the headstock, with Wooden Butterfly and Wooden Truss Cover...

Hi Garey,

Nice shoot and nice bass!!!
Where did you get the wood knobs??
They are very elegant!

Thanks.
Man-Ho

Thanks! Wish I had as nice as camera as my bass! Anyways....I got the knobs from Roger at THG knobs http://www.thgknobs.com/ .

I sourced ALL the koa for my bass (as I spent half my life in Hawaii)...so I got some "pen blanks", from the same piece of wood that the top and headstock veneer came from, and sent those to Roger. This was 2003 that I first made contact with him, turned Beez onto him, and 4+ years ago that they were completed when my bass was ready.

Yep! Hopefully it will ship this week sometime. I kind of wish that I could just go in to hibernation until the delivery man arrives...

Great to hear! I'm sure the next few days will be absolutely agonizing but when you open that tear drop Fodera case for the first time... Man, that's the stuff!

Can't wait til I can do the same thing.
