Fodera Club Part VII

They don't LOL...and based on the looks of the one for sale on eBay, that's a good thing.

In all seriousness, that bass IS legit. Joey and Vinny followed a tremendous number of paths to get to where Fodera is now. Some of them yielded fantastic breakthroughs and some of them bass like the one for sale on eBay. That's all part of the creative process.

Gang, I will miss you all for the next week, but I am headed on vacation with the family and am "tuning out" for a bit to recharge the batteries. Looking forward to reconnecting upon my return...

As always, thanks for your incredible support...

Cheers,

J

Didn't think that "custom" and "NYC" went together

Have A great time, be safe, be blessed and most of all have fun with the family.

Cool! However, I thought both the NYCs you had on order were 5 strings?

Nope, got a 4 and a 5 (had a typo on my website).

I had a gig last night so I took the Fodera 4 and my FBass BN6. Most of the tunes I'm more comfortable playing on a 5-string, so I used the BN6 :). But I was able to grab the Fodera for a few tunes and I was honestly blown away... I can't wait for the 5-string to come in - I think I might have a new favorite!

Jason and the rest of the team at Fodera are really doing something special over there, for sure.

You are more comfortable on a 5, so you used the BN6? I'm a bit confused. Did you mean to type BN5? Or are you saying you wanted a B string, so you had to play the 6 intead of the 4?

It was kind of a joke. I'm more comfortable on a 5-string, and I needed a B-string, but I had to take the BN6 because I dont currently own a 5-string (can you believe that???). I still sometimes get confused on this 6-string (evidenced by a completely botched solo on "Sweet Child of Mine") but heck, IT'S FUN!!!
