We can now range from roughly 17.0 - 20.0 mm with our own bridges. Outside of that range requires us to use one from another manufacturer (usually Hipshot).

Not sure that playing Midnight Hour, I Feel Good, Disco Inferno, Boogie Oogie Oogie etc is using them to their full effect but I just love playing them and the '86 in particular just kills at capturing the sound I'm after :)

Folks -- This may be a Talk Bass first, but we DESPERATELY need your help. Victor Wooten is playing tonight at 8:30 pm in Norway (at this venue: http://www.hemnesjazz.no/) and his basses were temporarily "misplaced" by the airlines.

We desperately need to find him a Fodera (ideally a Monarch 4-string) to play for the gig. If you, or anyone you know can help with this, please email me at:

Anyone that can help us solve this problem will be comped (along with up to three guests) for the show AND be provided with backstage passes. Oh, and have I mentioned that it would be pretty darn cool to have Vic play YOUR bass for a concert?!?

I PM'ed Jon (TB Screen Name: MrWalker). He's from Norway. I don't think he has a Fodera, but he might know someone who does. I sent him a link to your post for more information.

Hi guys!
Unfortunately, no, I don't have a fodera. And unfortunately #2, Hemnes is a long way from me, and the only fodera I know in Norway is further away from Hemnes than me again. I'm sorry, guys, I just cannot seem to find any more info about this.

I guess at this point it's moot? What's the status now, J? It's got to be about 5:50 in Norway now, right? Stockholm is farther than Oslo, and Copenhagen is even further, right? Lillehammer is close by. Any straggling Olympic bassists around?
