Jason - Is the recently new MG basses in the newborn session with 17.5 mm spacing? I guess when the bridge isn't a Fodera the spacing is 16.5 mm or less.
Welcome back Jason. Happy Easter...

Cool Molan! I played on a Metal band's album (like Dream Teather), with Emperor II...I use my '86 Monarch (and sometimes my '10 Yin Yang) in a good old funk and classic soul covers band.
Not sure that playing Midnight Hour, I Feel Good, Disco Inferno, Boogie Oogie Oogie etc is using them to their full effect but I just love playing them and the '86 in particular just kills at capturing the sound I'm after![]()
Two questions about this one.
http://www.fodera.com/Main/NewBornDetails.aspx?FeaturedItemID=143
is it 35" or 33".
The data says the former whereas the description speaks of the latter.
And how heavy is it?
Thanks!![]()
My Yin Yang Custom at the shop. Apparently very close to going into the spray booth. Getting very close now... I love the look of that Birdseye Maple Neck!

Yep. But I'm still glad I have it. The photo I mean. I think now I'm actually starting to drool.

Folks -- This may be a Talk Bass first, but we DESPERATELY need your help. Victor Wooten is playing tonight at 8:30 pm in Norway (at this venue: Hemnesjazz web) and his basses were temporarily "misplaced" by the airlines.
We desperately need to find him a Fodera (ideally a Monarch 4-string) to play for the gig. If you, or anyone you know can help with this, please email me at:
[email protected]
Anyone that can help us solve this problem will be comped (along with up to three guests) for the show AND be provided with backstage passes. Oh, and have I mentioned that it would be pretty darn cool to have Vic play YOUR bass for a concert?!?
Kindest regards,
Jason
