the thing i dont understand is of the 3 foderas ive played... Vics yin yang deluxe, vics yin yang standard, and another kids Monarch 83..

The neck feels like butter!!!! Ive never felt a neck so easy to manuever in my whole life..

Is there is oil on there or something!!! Smoothest neck ever... so easy to play... it was amazing

The feel of the our necks is really a combination of their shape (hand-carved, of course) and our finish process -- which is pretty painstaking. We use multiple coats of gloss acrylic lacquer that are hand sanded after every three coats. the final coat it hand sanded three times using increasingly fine grit material and then a paste wax is applied....

There's also some of Vinny's sweat in there as well.. that's the secret ingredient.. :-)

no man.. I meant that as a very good thing.. Sweat, love, energy, soul, vibe... what ever you call it... Seeing him work at the shop you know what I mean.. There is a piece of him in every one of those basses. Vic says we should thank our basses.. I do that a lot.. I am also deeply thankful for the man (and the team) who created this masterpiece, I call my bass. :hyper:

It was a joking ew, but I get what you mean.

I just don't want to discount the other guys in the shop- even if their name isn't on the product, they are contributing massively to the mojo you are describing. It doesn't matter to me if my neck was carved by Vinny, Vadym or any of the younger guys- the quality and consistency of the instruments coming out of the shop in the last couple years (of the ~10 I've tried and two I've owned) has been incredible.

LOL, i figured that on the ew,... yes sir.. i second that on the partners and the crew, they are all awesome.. Everyone plays a part like a great symphony..
