I'm an outlier though as I strongly prefer the Monarch body shape over everything else and really am not a fan of the offset Emperor/J-style body.

Different strokes... I love the Emperor body style and never cared for the Monarch at all.

I am a huge J bass fan though -- which probably explains the preference for the offset model.

Unfortunately since Olive wood is such a large part of why this model sounds the way it does and since sourcing great Olive wood is both expensive AND unpredictable, I am afraid that we likely will not be making an RBS anytime soon. Sorry.

I will wait for the Richard Bona standard.
