I got my first one at the age of 25 (after dreaming for one for over 10 years) - the next one with 27 (this one I sold last year) and now I will get my new one with 31 at the end of this year :hyper:

DAMN I'm 30 :bawl::bawl::bawl::bawl::D

the "problem" here in germany is (and I think this is where the "lawyer" and "dentist" are buying high end basses jokes are coming from" that we have sth. like a envy community in some areas ... and this is extremely distincted under bassists (and guitarplayers too ?) - you always have the feeling that nearly 95% turn to a hater when they here that you have a Bass that is more expensive like 2000,- dollars... "why do you need sth. like that" , "overpriced" , "unnecessary" , etc. - you will never hear a "wow - congrats" or sth like this ;)

And all of them do not think about what they would have to pay if they would play Cello or Violin (or even a good Upright)
