[Laughing] About the only use I can think of for sound activated lights is to tease a cat. I'd much rather have the stand; that keeps my bass safe.So funny.. I think Tom should keep the lights, after all they are sound activated..
The lights are about 6 times more expensive than the stand I ordered, so I hope I have no hassle from Musician's Friend when I contact them to get the right item.

Yes..I read your post where you mentioned the bass in question and went off to have a look straight away, it's a really nice looker.
I've always liked the original AJ double cutaway and had a chance to try a 6 string version many years ago at The Bass Centre" in Wapping. That's were the interest in Fodera began.
Stuebig who graces this forum has an absolutely Gorgeous AJ/Fodera 6, with Zebrawood top, love that bass Stu. What's your impression of the AJ5?
I walked away from the AJ6 thinking it was the by far "THE BEST" bass I had ever played period, but I had issues with the weight. I'd have thought that being a 5string with a more compact body that weight would be less of a problem.
BTW a buddy of mine Harry has put his Emperor Elite 5 up for sale. You may have seen it on Basschat and it's currently at the Bass Gallery in Camden. I believe it was formally for sale at BassGear.

No doubt that lawyers and bankers do play music or that someone may well have saved up a very long time for this bass.
"Banker" and "Lawyer" just came to mind before working "Musician" did, when I first saw this instrument.

Hmmm ... I think I'll take some more knobs on my Viceroy. Maybe some more switches, too. That brings up a question. I assume it's not a Mike Pope Viceroy, but may I call it a Viceroy?

No worries, I quite understand. Please don't take this in any way personally, this is just my observation as one who used to be on the outside looking in, as it were. It's just that I'm often concerned that people who aspire to own a custom Fodera watch this thread with much interest and probably think some of our commentary is a little smug or aloof, after all
let's be honest here, in my estimation we're talking about the Bentley of Bass Guitar's.
While some might say "Well it's our club, created specifically for us so we're entitled to shoot-off how we please and they're more than entitled to; I personally feel that regardless of your earning potential (white collar worker or bin man) that we all have the right to acquire our dream bass, Bentley, Ferrari or Prius..Whoops!!
Absolutely no problem whatsoever.
