I thought i would share some photos from last nights Flecktones show in Naperville, Illinois. Really good show, enjoyed watching all the musicians hand grooves and solos off to one another. These guys had grins on their faces the whole time, truely amazing to watch. As usual Vic was at his best with his Fodera. Very nice guy, made time to not just shake everyone's hand and take a picture with everyone in line-but also to look them in the eye and have a personal conversation. And of course Im having GAS like everyone here for another Fodera, as if I thought watching Vic play would cure it!

What's that in Vic's left hand?

Good for you for getting a photo with him. When the Flecktones played in Anchorage I bought up a mess of tickets just out of pure excitement, then after the fact I invited every friend and family member I thought might appreciate it, and gave them each a ticket.

One of those friends was a young (16 years old) friend of my daughter's and a beginning bass player. Shortly after this concert, that young man passed away unexpectedly and very tragically, so that concert memory is cherished even more now.

Anyway, I didn't have the nerve to approach Vic after, so no photo for me. :crying:

I have a bass on order and was able to visit the shop. I can say that it would not be possible for anyone there to be more helpful than they were. I wanted to be sure I didn't screw it up with poor taste, (which I could easily do). But Jason was a saint, steered me correctly, and I could not be happier. I will thank him, but my point here is, if someone asks why anyone would buy a Fodera, I can tell you. I saw it with my own eyes.

Me too. I have just placed my order of yyd and Jason guided me through. The fun has as just begun.

Right back at you oldfretless and b-for-beatles! It is our privilege to be working with you on your basses and a very rare day indeed when we are working with two customers on YYD's. Now that we only make 6 per year, what are the odds of that?!?

The top is nice but that body looks bizarre to me. That top bout looks way too long and odd.

Edit: I just realized it's an imperial but with a deeper lower cutaway for the 28 frets. It makes the upper bout look disproportioned to me though.
