Jason, I have a dumb question... I was looking at the price list and options. What comes "standard" on custom shop models before custom options these days? i.e. pick-ups, top woods, etc. In other words, if you bought an Imperial 5 today, and chose not to upgrade the top or pickups, would would it come with?

A Flame Maple or Curly Walnut top are both standard tops -- solid ones on Bolt-ons and Deluxes and non-solid on Elites. We really no longer have "standard" pickups...we price them as chosen by the customer.

There is no charge for modifying any of the following either...

-Body shape (as long as it's based on one of our designs)
-Neck shape
-Scale length
-String Spacing
-Body thickness
-Control Layout
-Hardware Color
-Body Wood Selection (Walnut, Alder, Ash or Mahogany)
-FB Material (Indian RW, Pau Ferro, Ebony, Macassar Ebony -- Birdseye and Brazilian are options)
-PH layout

To follow-up on what Joel asked and your reply to that, I'm assuming the price for dual coil pickups on the price list is with plastic covers? Or is it wood?

Just wondering what the pricing is for plastic covers versus wood?

Dual Coils in Plastic Covers are $600 for 5 and 6-string and $500 for 4-string. Wooden covers add $650...

Makes total sense -- Thanks for the response. So the list price plus the cost of the pickups is the basic price of entry on the custom models?
