that's the one from ebay a while back that was asking $8,000 . . . and i opined it was more along the line of $5,000.

that being said, some one sold a 6-string on vaguely the same vintage for around $8,000 on ebay in the last week or so. chesnut, 36-inch scale, newer pre.

We only use brass and each nut is hand cut. We use it because it sounds very similar to a fretted note when you play the open string. Other materials sound different...
