Hey steuart - it arrived Friday, May 18. I forgot that it's been 7 years since I played a 6 string! The bass sounds amazing, but I'm still learning how to play (handle?) it with confidence. Michael Wilcox is helping me get acclimated. I'll try to post some sound clips next week.

How is Michael? It's been a long time since I've heard his name. He's a great guy.

Joel,

Michael is indeed a great guy! I've started taking lessons from him and his musical knowledge is amazing and humbling. He's given me at least three years worth of work in my first 3 lessons! Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of gigs here in the Bay Area to showcase his talent. I would love to connect him with someone who could turn his teaching methods into rich, multi-media apps. He has so much to offer to students of our instrument!
