Well, if I can put in a word here, I'm in no hurry for Jason and the rest of the team to 'make up time' in building basses... I want them all fully rested and ready to continue to build perfect basses, just like they always have. What's another week, when the goal is perfection!?!? Jason, you can put my bass on the back burner to make sure it's as perfect as it can be

Just wanted to post this.... yep that's it... maybe not 28 frets, but that's it.... how did you know
I was wondering about those AJ models that Jason mentioned in newsletter...
Man, that Bolivian-Rosewood top Imperial would be awesome as a 4-string... just sayin'.... that might be a bass in the future for me, with a single humbucker like Goines' bass. Gotta write this one down!!

I know the extended B head has been discussed here numerous times and at length,now I wonder :
Are there potentially benefits to keeping a low string as short as possible past the nut, or negatives to it?
How long are the lowest tuners away from the nut on fodera or, does that vary ?
Does it matter how far the tuner is away from the nut?
I don't even know why, but this occurred to me and I thought this might be a good place to take this question.
