I guess so.... the Bass was 4,8 kg ... now without the frets (it's my fretless now and sings like a bird ) it's a little lighter...

But I would guess that the Mac Ebony top makes a fine add to the whole sound which is worth the weight

4.8 is around 10,5lbs. Not terrible, but still fairly heavy.

One thing that come across when watching Felix, you can see the passion and love
of what he does. Plus he comes across as someone with a great degree of humility.
I'd like to shake this guys hand someday. Really a great inspiration. Plus that EII looks
Killer.

haha that's actually how I try to make MY Fodera sound all the time!

But something tells me that blues purists wouldn't be hanging around the Fodera thread anyway....

Thank you. Still trying to get the hang of this IOS7 stuff, I think it worked going
through the web rather than the app.

Part of the Koa stuff that just came in. Jason had me drooling over this stuff and
I bit the bullet. It was a toss up between this and the walnut, but I'm kind of
Koa biased.

Neat. That will be a great top!

I think I have decided on a mango top for my fretless. I should have some pics in the next day or two, but it is almost a year out.

My fretted is curly walnut and will be ready in Jan. I picked the top out at the Fodera shop in March. Same batch as Nostatic's bass and the M4S Fretless. I am looking forward to this one too!
