Here's my Imperial Elite 5.It's been on over 1000 studio credits since I've had it and it sounds better every time I play it.

It will be worth it,I guarantee it.When I bought mine,it cost twice as much as any bass I had ever bought.Since I had a week to return it,I came up with a 15 point checklist(talk about anal)and swore that if it didn't past muster on every point,it was going back.It came through all the points and even more.A friend of mine said Foderas own you.I think he was right.

anyone in or near new jersey that would let me play their fodera??

i want to try one but cant seem to find one.

The shop is only 20 minutes beyond New Jersey in Brooklyn -- why not call over there and make an appointment. They always have several basses in house that you can try....much better than just trying one bass at someone's house in NJ....
