My like new Imperial "Bona" 5
Knowing that Fodera use maple as well as ash for their necks, I was wondering if anyone could describe the difference in terms of tone between the two.
I recently asked Vinny that. This was his answer...
"I use a Midwestern hard ash (not as hard and dense as Northern White Ash). The ash neck gives a slightly warmer tone than a hard maple neck. More open resonance, slightly warmer – not as compact and tight sounding."

Just saw an emperor 5-string with a 4 knob Pré-amp instead of the usual one with the 2 big and 3 smaller knobs.
Anyone knows what Preamp this is?
The owner says it's a Fodera pré amp but I cant find anything about it on the web...
