Kids are amazing with their language up-take. This might appeal to you. It's a lovely story about the daughter of a writer and poet, who's wrestling with the language herself, who can't help but admire her daughter's uncanny way with words. It's an mp3 file called Invalid Link Removed It begins with this observation. "So, 'Unfriend' was the word of the year for 2009…"My daughter says "Speak it up. Please." when she can't hear her cartoons.
I think it is because we always tell her to "speak up" when she answers a question. She is a bit shy.
