I've actually stopped buying and selling basses. I've made it a point to practice more and I'm already noticing improvements. Such a great experience.

FOR EVERYONE HAVING GAS...

I solved my GAS problem awhile ago. Instead of spending $ on crap I don't need such as junk food/ sweets, video games, snacks and many other things I save $ where I can to put towards new gear. The way I see it even if I don't use said gear it is a better investment of my money and I can always pass it along later.
That said I also am a budget musician so I tend to look for deals on cool used gear or cheaper but decent offbrand stuff. This helps me try out a lot of random stuff from strings to pedals, even a few random guitars. I also try to practice with and without pedals as it is good to work on your chops & experiment.

I'm on a self imposed refrain from buying gear or even walking into a music gear store, 3 years now and counting. I have what I need.
