TBH, having three basses kind of annoys me, but I also love them all, so its a tricky situation. I would much rather two.

You forgot fretless and fretted as well as rounds and flats. 20 basses easily justified once you add those perameters.Different tunings.

I can see why you would want a good backup just in case but why three or more? Why not just get a really good one that you love? Just curious.
Why are you wasting time with those other basses when you have a RIC? Thats the better question!Variety is the spice of life...
I have four. A ric, a parts P bass, a steinberger spirit, and a stingray copy that i am converting into an HH.
I mean, why not have more than one if you can?
