And it rocks hard! Any comments from Andre regarding the bass? Or the reunion? It's great to see a bass player "back in touch" with his own instrument! Congrats, Andre- looks like 2010 is shaping up to be a banner year for you!
Thanks for the Pics, GE! Put a big smile on my face along with a tear or two. All I can say is simply, "Amazing"! This has already made this year great and looking forward to seeing pictures from the reunion.
Wow! I just stumbled onto this thread. I can't believe I have missed so much of this. What a great story.
To all of you that were involved, GE and the rest what a truely kind thing you all did here. I wish I was involved. This is the kind of stuff that reminds me that there are still selfless people out there.

If that SX plays half as good as it looks Art's got a real winner in his hands...I'm sure he'll put it to good use.
Please keep us informed of further developments regarding Art, his bass, and his pending reunion with his family.

Even before this thread you had earned the respect and trust of the TB family. It doesn't really seem fair to ask this, but perhaps there is something else you could do. Andre has made it clear that he was not asking for anything more than a chance to contact his brother, but I believe that all of us would like to make sure that the meeting does take place. We do not know Andre or Maurice's financial status, but if they cannot afford the trip maybe you could open up the account on paypal to collect enough to make the reunion happen.
While it would be nice to see the pics, the real importance is knowing it happened. I think most of us respect Andre's desire to maintain his privacy. I hate to speak for others, but I am sure we trust your integrity enough to contribute to this wonderful cause that you set in motion.
