   SWEET, that's one awesome fretless. Congrats:scowl:

right now i have a carvin fretless but i just never liked the feel of it, im trying to get rid of it and want a new one. Think im gonna go with a stingray or if for some reason i win the lottery get a manny salvador custom. Does anyone own one of his basses?

What do you guys know about Lakland basses? I dont know anything about them but I know they make an active preamp bass with a jazz and humbucker pickup combo.....who else makes a fretless active bass with j/h combo?

I'd be very interested in an UN-lined 55-94.. the fretless I saw are all lined... I heard the fretted version and sounds great

hey,
ive never played a mm fretless 4...but one of my favorite fretless bass players....or bass players in general plays a mm 4fretless.
pino palladino:smug: if you want to hear a fretless at its finest check out any of paul young's albums exspecially "Every Time You Go Away" ............. now thats some serious sound outa 4 strings!!!:hyper:

hope that helps.

Pino had a Status graphite neck on that Stingray fretless - makes a BIG tonal difference. I have one on my Jazz and it sounds better than any other fretless J that I've ever played.

Actually, I'm off to a gig with it in half an hour!
