The ethernet always reminds me of work, but the word always reminds me of ether. Ether always reminds me of the book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson. There's a part where he's describing himself on ether. It's amazing. It always reminds me of a crazy time I had in Vegas. I started my evening downtown at the California Hotel. This is where I was staying. For those of you who are not familiar with the California hotel, let me just tell you this. It is full of asian people. It's mind blowing. Everything from the old korean ladies with the giant disposable visors, the type that are made of either green or pink translucent plastic, to their daughters. I remember getting torn from this casino because my friends wanted to go somewhere different. A few casino's later and a couple of grand of winning money led us to a strip joint. I generally hate strip joints. But at this strip joint was a smoking hot filipina chick. She was amazing. I liked her. Luckily before I went there, I had the foresight of cashing a hundred into singles. After playing with her for a good forty minutes (her teasing me that I was a cheapskate, and me responding that you get what you pay for) she offered to buy me drinks after she got off in half an hour. Needless to say, I bailed on my friends and myself and this filipina chick ended up in New York, New York getting blurry. One thing let to another, and we wound up back at my room sometime around 11 am. We put the do not disturb sign on the door and went at it like bunnies. She left around 5pm. Later that evening I woke up, went down stairs, and walked into a winning craps table. This table had a bunch of korean chicks from a bridesmaids party. Before the trip was over, I got on two them.
