It's only a rumor if it never happened. ;)

I hope you get out of your Thumb what you wanna get out of it, bro.

YOU - ARE NOTHING BUT A TROUBLE MAKER! :)

that was all in the past. actually, every now and then there is a crackhead, or parent who just lost their job who is willing to let something go for a fraction of it's worth. some people are willing to wait around and take a chance that something like that might pop up also. if they don't really want or need a bass, then that's awesome. if someone really wants a certain instrument however me thinks it ain't worth the wait that could take years. don't know if i'd want to spend 2 years waiting to save $100, or even 2 or 3 hundred bucks for that matter.

also - and this is to NC, I have found that dropping the price does yeild immediate results. i held out on the worth of my warwick because it wasn't worth my getting rid of for less, and i realized i was selling it for almost HALF the price I originally paid. other things I've sold recently I dropped the price $25 bucks and people swarmed. funny how the old tried and true $99.00 thing worked on craigs list. something listed at $100 didn't budge. I dropped it to $99 and I got a bunch of emails. peeepoles are funny sometimes. :)

Agreed in all points, Joe.
Price dropped to $1199!!

She's Gone!!
A deal has been struck, and sadly the Thumb will be shipped to her new owner Saturday or Monday. She'll be missed (shhh, don't tell her she's been replaced by a redhead)!
Thanks to all who inquired about the bass and a special thanks to Joe Nerve and Basschair for their bumps and words of encouragement!

My 'sad day' comes later today, when I give my Thumb away to the fellows in brown uniforms at UPS. Ah well, I've been neglecting my Warwick as well, and she deserves to be played!
On the up side, at 5:00 pm today I'm due to receive a '91 SR5 (alnico pickup) in trans red with black pickguard and birdseye maple neck and fretboard. :D

Tradin our Warwicks for MMs. One day the entire world will see the light.
