Oh- I just saw that in an old magazine. NO clue what it is, but IIRC it was either somewhat cobbled together from *spare parts* or built of steel(as opposed to more in-demand aluminum). Douglas something-or-other..?

Ah yeah, AW Argosy 200 series.
Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer, if I remember correctly, I think this aircraft is in fact based at Coventry and flown by Air Atlantique, although that livery seems to be fairly common.
