In the thread of safest places, one of our non-US friends (Vindy500 from Denmark) got a chuckle out of the name of our safest city - Brick, NJ.

Anyone else have any favorites? Bonus points if ever lived there.

My two favorites in Massachusetts are:

Belchertown - named after Jonathan Belcher, a Colonial-era Royal Governor.

Chicopee - this is a city of 50,000 or so. If you want to get one of them going refer to them as Chicopee-ers.

Spuds, Idaho.

This is not nessicarily funny on it's own. However, you can see the "Welcome to" and "Thanks for visiting" signs from the same vantage point on the highway. On top of that, there's a curve in the road (away from the town, no less). Gas Station, hotel, general store, thanks for visiting.

It's my favorite town, ever.
